We also just announced another year of FREE MOVIE NIGHTS at Edmond Town Hall Theater in Newtown. This is our 13th year of sponsoring free movie nights. The schedule is published in The Bee in Newtown and is subject to change. We are waiting on some additional dates from the theater, but we’ve released the dates for our first shows in their newspaper and we just hosted our first free movie night for 2025 on January 11th.
We visited high school students, educators, administrators and the Bethel Education Foundation (BEF) board members to present a check to help with STEM activities and needs in the schools through the BEF.
We visited Danbury Youth Services to donate to the GALs (Girls As Leaders) program to help these young women develop leadership skills and explore the world of STEM in their futures.
We visited Head O'Meadow Elementary School in Newtown with our Chevy Back to School donation for their PTA just before the holidays. This is the fourth year of this initiative which provides funding for parent-teacher associations and similar organizations to assist with the purchase of supplies, aid for ongoing projects, and to support appreciation efforts for educators in the community.
